Good hotel for the area. Rooms are spacious. The only disappointment really was the breakfast, for an extra 20 Euro per person, it should be to another standard.

The Crowne Plaza is a top class experience in a great location, from the arrival welcome, throughout your stay and even on departure. It is very well located, right next to the Aqua Florya mall. It has its own private access to the promenade running along the Marmara Sea, offering amazing sunset views. The mall and aquarium next door are worth a visit or more - with many awesome restaurants. It is a bit further away from the main tourist sights, but is very close to a train station with commuter trains that connect you to the Bosphorus cruises, Grand Bazaar and Aya Sofia and Blue Mosques in just over 45 minutes. Being a little further out of the busy Sultanahmet area makes airport access a little easier. The rooms are really big, with an additional sitting area and a balcony with side sea views. The bed was big and very comfortable resulting in a good sleep every night. The bathroom was also huge. Cleaniliness was of a very high standard. The breakfast offered a wide spread of high quality Turkish options, with good cheese, breads (rolls, pastries and filled phyllo pastry patties), bowls of hummus, muhammara etc, jams, and hot options. A full range of teas and coffees were on offer too, including Turkish tea. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful - a special thank you to Süleyman for great service.
